Tashahhud ki dua ko namaz ke douran parhi jati hai aur yeh aik makhsoos haalat mein dua ki gayi hai. namaz ke douran, jab namazi musalman wudu se tayyar hokar namaz parh rahay hotay hain, to namaz ke aakhri baath mein Tashahhud ki dua parhte hain. سننان اِبْن ماجہ 909-ساحیح
ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں:
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے تشہد سکھایا جیسا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے قرآن کی ایک سورت سکھائی، جب کہ میرا ہاتھ آپ کے ہاتھوں کے درمیان تھا۔ (تشہد تھا) تمام بہترین تعریفیں اور دعائیں اور اچھی چیزیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں۔ آپ پر سلامتی اور اللہ کی رحمتیں اور برکتیں ہوں،
اے نبی! سلام ہو ہم پر اور اللہ کے نیک بندوں پر، میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں (ہم نماز میں یہ پڑھا کرتے تھے) لیکن جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہو گئی تو ہم کہتے تھے کہ السلام علیکم نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر۔
صحیح البخاری 6265 {صحیح}
عبداللہ بن مسعود نے کہا:
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھتے وقت ہم یہ پڑھتے تھے: السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ۔ ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم سے فرمایا: بے شک اللہ خود سلامتی والا ہے۔ جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز کے لیے بیٹھے تو اسے یہ کہنا چاہیے کہ تمام عبادتیں کلمات اور عبادات سے اور تمام نیکیاں اللہ کے لیے ہیں۔
اے نبی آپ پر سلام ہو اور اللہ کی رحمتیں اور برکتیں ہوں۔ ہم پر اور اللہ کے نیک بندوں پر سلام ہو کیونکہ جب وہ یہ کہتا ہے تو آسمانوں اور زمین کے ہر نیک بندے تک پہنچ جاتا ہے۔ (اور مزید کہو) میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔ پھر وہ کسی بھی دعا کا انتخاب کر سکتا ہے جو اسے پسند ہو اور اسے پیش کرے۔

عبداللہ بی۔ زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دعا کے لیے بیٹھتے تو میں۔ تشہد میں اپنا دایاں ہاتھ دائیں ران پر اور بایاں ہاتھ بائیں ران پر رکھا اور شہادت کی انگلی سے اشارہ کیا اور انگوٹھے کو اپنی (ہلکی) انگلی پر رکھا اور اپنے گھٹنے کو ہتھیلی سے ڈھانپ لیا۔ اس کا بائیں ہاتھ.

Tashahhud Dua in English
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When one of you recites the last Tashahud, seek refuge with Allah from four things: from the punishment of hell, from the punishment of the grave, from the temptations of life and death, and from the temptations of Christ the Dajjal.
Sunnan Ibn Majah 909-Sahih
Narrated by Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, taught me tashahhud as he taught me a Surah of the Qur’an, while my hand was between his hands. (The testimony was) All the best praises and supplications and good things are for Allah. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon you,
O Prophet! Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the servant of Allah and His Messenger. During the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (we used to recite this in prayer), but when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) died, we used to say: Peace be upon the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Sahih al-Bukhari 6265 {Sahih}
Abdullah bin Masoud said:
When praying behind the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, we used to recite: One day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us: Verily, Allah is the One who gives peace. When one of you sits for prayer, he should say that all worship is with words and acts of worship and all good deeds are for Allah.
Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and may God’s mercy and blessings be upon you. Peace be upon us and upon the pious servants of Allah, for when he says this, he reaches every pious servant of the heavens and the earth. (And say further) I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. Then he can choose any dua he likes and offer it.

Abdullah b. Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from his father that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to sit for prayer, I In Tashahhud, place your right hand on your right thigh and your left hand on your left thigh and point with your index finger and place your thumb on your (light) finger and cover your knee with your palm. his left hand.

Transliteration
Allaahumma ‘innee ‘as’aluka bi’annee ‘ash-hadu ‘annaka ‘Antallaahu laa ‘ilaaha ‘illaa ‘Antal-‘Ahadus-Samadul-lathee lam yalid wa lam yoolad wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ‘Ahad.
Translation
O Allah, I ask You, by the fact that I bear witness that You are Allah. There is none worthy of worship but You, the Only God, Independent of creation, Who was not begotten and begets not, and none is equal to Him.
