Surah Alam Nashrah in English:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Have you considered the one who denies the judgment? Then it is he who pushes the orphan away, And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. So woe to those who pray, But are heedless of their prayer – Those who make a show [of their deeds], But refuse [help] to the needy.
The Quran is a reminder, And whoever wills may take to his Lord a way. But you cannot will unless God wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise. And He will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. But those who refuse will have a bed of fire. And how many cities have We destroyed, and Our punishment came to them at night or while they were sleeping at noon.
And when Our punishment came to them, they were not expecting it. And they said, “Our Lord, remove from us the punishment. Indeed, we are believers.” But how did they become losers while they were witnesses [to the truth]? So they swore by Allah that they were, for sure, of you, but they were not of you; and they were not [even] afraid [to tell lies]. They thought that there would be no trial, and they were blinded and deafened. Then Allah will punish them for their sins, and they will not be able to escape.
So do not be in doubt about what these people say, but trust in Allah. Indeed, Allah is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Indeed, Allah is the one who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor. So will you not be reminded?
And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and to Him is [due] obedience in the Hereafter. So will you not be rational?
And they say, “When is this pmise, if you should be truthful?” Say, “The appointment to you is for a Day, which you cannot put back for an hour nor put forward.”
And those who have denied will say, “When is this promise, if you should be truthful?” It will not be but a single cry, and immediately they will be staring.
And they will say, “Ah, woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense.” This is the Day of Judgment which you used to deny.
So the wrongdoers will be on that Day in a state of despair. And they will not be able to hide from Allah any secret of theirs. And to whom does the kingdom belong today? To Allah, the One, the Omnipotent.
